Founded in 1971, meeting monthly and still going strong, the
B.S.F.G. is a non-profit-making organisation that provides an informal atmosphere in
which SF fans can meet one another and professionals in the field. You can find

Ian R MacLeodThis year's Novacon Guest of Honour. First Published by "Weird Tales",
Winner of a World Fantasy Award, writes SF influenced by Dickens and
Thomas Hardy and born in Solihull.

TIME: Doors open at 7.30 pm for an 8pm start. The
hotel is licensed.

Eric Brown
An Ex-League football player who has written plays for children. He's
written more than a couple of dozen novels in the last 20 years. His
stories have won polls and a BSFA award. He rarely gives talks like this -
this could be the first time - so this could be one to remember.
